Creative
healing taps into our innate creativity – yes, we
are all creative beings. We learn to
use our creativity to strengthen us. We learn how to
let go, and let the creative force of the universe work through us. This
strengthens us in unimaginable ways. In doing this work, we unearth those
things that keep us blocked – whether energetically, emotionally, or
physically. We learn to discard the old patterns that drain us, and to attract
new people, situations, and energies in to our lives.
During this work will utilize the book The Artist's Way by Julia
Cameron. The Artist’s Way is a twelve-week course designed
for people who are looking to connect to their artist-self, or simply to their
inner-self. As the book’s author, Julia Cameron, writes, “We ourselves
are the substance we withdraw to, not from,
as we pull our overextended and misplaced creative energy back into our own
core. We begin to excavate our buried dreams.”
This process taps into the ability of creativity to
bring deep changes and healing into our lives. It helps us become our authentic
selves. In a word, it returns us to greater wholeness.
